Description

• Monitoring, maintaining, troubleshooting and repair of POS terminals, printers, servers, storages, workstations, network printers and other devices.
• Installing, patching, and managing of server and workstation operating systems and support software.
• Managing Aloha POS systems including user policies, item database, menu pages and other POS features.
• Provide technical assistance to restaurant managers and employees, both onsite and remote.
• Assist with security access to the network and remediation of security vulnerabilities.
• Obtain pricing for hardware and software; upgrade hardware and software as necessary; move and/or unpack and install hardware as received.
• Repair network cables and connectors and run new network cables as needed.
• Implementation of end user services (e.g., applications, printing, disk quotas, user accounts).
• Transporting, installation and maintenance of computer peripherals (e.g., personal computers, servers, printers, routers, switches or related equipment)
• Provide help desk support to company users.
• Maintain spare parts inventory for computer and POS equipment and arrange for necessary repair of hardware and/or software.
• Provide hardware/software and documentation to users as needed.
• Interact with various individuals and groups such as system users, management, vendors, consultants and other technical support staff.
• Assist IT Director - Networking as needed.
• Assist in planning and completing projects assigned to IT as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum of high school Diploma or GED
• 5 years working with computer repair/help desk
• Networking/cabling experience preferred
